How do I do it?
CO-CREATING
Working with me means opening ourselves up to the game of creation and discovering how to bring that idea to life through the encounter: with sensitivity, empathy, active listening as tools, and all my technical expertise at the service of collaborative work.
PLAYING
No project is worthwhile if we don't have fun while doing it. I create space for play and experimentation in the work processes to allow time and space for the unexpected. Let the magic happen!
I like to add humor when I tell stories with images. I think it's a powerful tool for empathy.
PROCESSING
To me, creating is a series of small decisions that, combined, make a whole.
Associating ideas and puzzle pieces together is an inherent part of my work process.
That's why I ask to be involved in the process, from ideation to production. I'm convinced that the best results are achieved as a team: when all parties understand what's needed, align to achieve it, and maintain fluid communication throughout the entire process.
I feel fulfilled by projects that value the work process to build integral products.
COLORING
I've been fascinated by color since I was a child, a consequence of observation and an 80-colored-pencil box that was once given to me. That day, my visuals were expanded, filling me with nuances and shades. Even my technical drawing homework sheets were victims of my chromatic experiments.
Since then, I aspire to escape the boundaries and explore the compositional exquisiteness of a limited palette. I'm fascinated by expressing a lot with a little, which leads me to synthesize both concepts and colors, conserve resources, and exercise creativity.
MATERIALIZING
Bringing the idea to fruition is a defining part of any project.
This is where my keen eye for detail comes into play, evaluating the best mediums, formats, materials, and textures to bring out the uniqueness of each design.
